I just don’t feel like writing today…
I really don’t. Or not this, anyway. I’ve had enough of myself. I’m living in a vacuum. Nothing challenges me. Nothing inspires me.
Hmm. Since writing the above, I have wasted two hours pfaffing around on Facebook, which I don’t even like. Procrastination. On that uplifting note, I’m going to bed. Numbness and sleep. Lipstick tomorrow.

I always get sucked into screwing around on facebook, playing scrabulous. Sigh.

NOW she pfaffs around on Facebook - after I’ve got off it. When I was there I never heard a peep outa her. Where were my pokes and vampire bites and strange gifts???
I didn’t like it either but somehow it became one of the worst of time wasters. It’s probably the future, but too damn bad.
One the other hand, a friend sent me this today: The Facebook Review. Should I reconsider? Is it in fact the highway to literary fame? Could you be challenged and inspired on Facebook amongst all the fluff?
Time I went to bed too!

I only ever go there if someone sends me a message and I get an email alert. My pfaffing wasn’t very sociable. I installed stupid applications to see what on earth people wanted me to do, and then uninstalled nearly all of them. I’m so suss on their privacy policy and the way your information can just be sold off.
I had a look at that Review Thingy. I know it has lots of members, but I wonder how many actually read it? And The material is only covered by Facebook Terms which says that you “grant to the Company an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully paid, worldwide license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, excerpt (in whole or in part) and distribute such User Content for any purpose, commercial, advertising, or otherwise.” I’m all for open source, and Creative Commons, but I’m pretty sure that particular agreement is not one your agent would recommend signing when it comes to your artistic work. It’s one of the things that makes me distrust them so much.
Hey there, Thordora. I didn’t know that you were reading. Isn’t this a fun blog for a coffee break at the moment?
Joh, I think 12000 is a gargantuan effort. I’m cheering you, and all the other Nanowrimites, on. I’m considering doing it next year. Or, maybe, when Caspar starts school…

Yes, that’s a pretty disgusting agreement to make about one’s work!
Btw I see the link to the Facebook review only works if you have a Facebook account. The details are also in my latest blog: Writing for facebook

I didn’t even think I’ve that. Thanks for link.
