Alison, It’s definitely impossible not to enjoy your birthday when your son enjoys it so much. Even if someone doesn’t think “birthdays are for children”, birthdays are better with children, I think.
Lani, birthdays and Christmas are heaps better with kids. It brings back the magic that we sometimes loose as we grow up. Seeing pure happiness and enjoyment on their faces is just magical. I hope you had a great day - looks like that gorgeous boy of yours did.
